Evan Lee Cantrell

I hired him to handle charges against me. I gave him a retainer. He was very hard to communicate with rarely answering phone calls or emails. After charges were dropped he was suppose to file a custody suit for me. After 3 weeks, never heard from him. Office he worked out of hasn't seen him in a whil...e. Finally ran into him at a Wal-Mart in Taylor's. Told him I needed the rest of the money so I could hire a another lawyer. Told me he would call me on Monday, still haven't heard from him. I filed a grievance against him with the South Carolina Bar Association, which takes a while, and he still has the rest of the money I gave him as a retainer.
