Bryan D. Ramey

BRYAN RAMEY represents his clients in a relentlessly reasonable manner.  He has never represented an insurance company, and DOUBLE AUGHT INJURY LAWYERS is devoted 100% to representing the injured.

He has tried cases at all levels of South Carolina state courts, and has argued appeals at the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court.  In federal court, he has tried cases in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.  He has also appeared pro hac vice in Michigan trial court, and at the Michigan Court of Appeals.

In June 2008, he was elected to the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Association for Justice.  In November 2013, he was elected to the Executive Committee of the Injured Workers' Advocates.  He is a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association for Justice, and the Injured Workers’ Advocates.

He completed his undergraduate education at Clemson University in 1986, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics.  In 1991, he received his law degree from The University of South Carolina School of Law.  During his third year of law school, he was Regional Champion of the National Trial Competition sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers; and received the Lewis F. Powell Medallion for Excellence in Advocacy.

In 2000, the National College of Advocacy honored him as an Advocate; and as a Fellow in 2007.
