Richard Smith was hired by me for a workers comp case. I told him I had photos of the accident site. He did not care he said a slip and fall is a slip and fall. I met with him one time and agreed to go with him. We met with the insurance lawyers and he didn't even prepare me for the deposition or tel...l me what to expect. I had to constantly call his office and speak with his paralegal to give them just to try to get my workers comp checks keep coming. He didn't go over any options with me he was all just about a settlement. I'm still in pain I still have the same problems but he got his money so he didn't tell me that we could get a second opinion on my injuries or anything. At the depositions the insurance lawyers had notes and documents from the doctors. Mr Smith never once spoke to the doctor's to get rebuttals to all their claims. He was a terrible lawyer he does not communicate. I had to threaten to find another lawyer just to speak with him instead of his paralegal and she hardly ever answered when I called.
