Amanda Morris Gallivan

I have waited and thought about this before writing. I am glad that others found Ms Gallivan to be helpful. My experience started out fine. I needed a custody agreement for my daughter with my ex who I was never married to. I want to say first and foremost that all the staff and Amanda's paralegal we...re absolutely excellent. I'll keep it short- I had to ask and push for Amanda to go to bat for me. 30 minute meeting? charged an hour. this happened over and over and I get it but all the emails and phone calls and backend requirements I was charged for too I felt like she padded her hours with me. I wouldn't have cared a bit if she was doing her job. She seemed to take the lead from opposing counsel. When I asked "Why doesn't he have to show his full financials but I did?" I was met with annoyance. "won't make much difference and you might end up with less" My child support is going to be reduced after our daughter is out of school- which I pay for. He gets to claim her on his taxes, and I asked if I was entitled to back child support because he had been paying me much less than the state deemed fair for over two years and it had put me in serious financial strain. "You're not entitled to anything but I guess I can ask" I felt like Amanda wasn't on my side- I don't know why and I don't care anymore. I paid a lot of money for a mediocre agreement. I emailed her five days ago asking for 30 minutes of her time because my co parent isn't following our agreement and she hasn't even bothered to respond. I am so deflated and felt defeated.
