We struggled to make ends meets for months during a family court / post-secondary support case in WA State and our finances plummeted. When the final ruling was awarded we were order to pay attorney fees at $500 a month until paid in full on top of the increase of support. (Don’t get me wrong, we graciously support and gladly pay child and post-secondary support for the children.) This was not doable with our current financial situation. My husband and I did not want to file bankruptcy and believe in paying our bills. However, we had no choice but to go and talk with someone because we were drowning. We left her office feeling confident that she would take care of us and our needs. We then filed a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and it was later dismissed for reasons outside of Ms. Bailey’s control. We have chosen to stay with Ms. Bailey and refile our case because of the confidence we have in Ms. Bailey and her staff. We recently noticed the former spouse filed multiple claims, (double dipping as my husband states) and I emailed Ms. Bailey with explanation and documents to back up my email and told her “here we go again…” Her reply, “I’ve got your back” and we know she does. Ms. Bailey is very knowledgeable for the client (our) needs, she is confident to help the client (us) and communicates well with us.
