A few years ago, I got a DUI and luckily had a friend that recommended me to Paul Thurmond. From the moment I contacted his office ( which.... is also a very warm, organized, and welcoming office located downtown Charleston) the entire staff was helpful and ready to get the ball rolling. I never on...ce, through the whole process felt as though I was being ignored, or just " another case". Mr. Thurmond immediately jumped on my case; the day of our first consult, I was having car issues and wanted to reschedule my appointment-- without hesitation, Mr. Thurmond offered to pay for a cab to be called to pick me up at my residence and drop me off at his office. I thought this was a trick. It turned out that this just reflected the personality, determination, and overall genuine care that Mr. Thurmond and his office staff gives each and every client. He was efficient, informing, and personable. Mrs. Crystal, and Mr. Romeo were also apart of this team working to help me and I truly felt like the luckiest girl to have come across this practice when I needed the best legal advice in town. When discussing the "Step-by-step" of what happened the night of my arrest, thorough and specific details were accounted for and asked; again, this just was another way of Mr. Thurmond being the best at what he does while also making his client feel comfortable and assured that all angles of my situation will be looked at. I never had a doubt that I was putting my case into the wrong hands. Even when difficulties caused by my absence, or failure to adhere certain requirements at first- He never gave up and encouraged me to be responsible and get the results that we wanted. And, with the tremendous amount of work put in by him and his crew- my case got expunged. Paul Thurmond was, by far, the "saving grace" I needed and was fortunate enough to find.
