Wait till you hear this! And yes, it's about a Lawyer! You won't believe it!

I tried to get a Lawyer to help me with an issue I felt was was reasonable here in Charleston, SC. No one help. I contacted Mr. James Danko, Attorney at Law in downtown Charleston, SC. Now for anyone that knows Charleston SC, they would know that all the best things are downtown. This is especial...ly true with legal services, but all the "best things" have very high prices (especially legal services), so you can understand my concern that a "downtown" lawyer would want to speak with me when all the others would not let me in the door. Mr. Danko and I met. I was very impressed. Not only did he feel that I had "more than a chance" to win my issue, but he also would take the case. Here's one of the things you won't believe. He took my case for a fraction of what he normally would have charged. How do I know this? I shopped around! Let's put it this way, what he charged me, would not have paid for his "post-it's". Although he never said a word about it, I'm sure he felt for me and my issue personally, and the fact that I am a retired disabled american veteran also had something to do with it. I'm pretty good at reading people, and I'm seldom wrong (at least about that). He actual gave a damn and I was not wrong. Mr. Danko proceeded to work his butt off for me and my issue. He kept me informed at every step in the process and consulted with me about every detail. Unfortunately I did not win my case, but it had NOTHING to do with the skills and expertise of Mr. Danko. He did everything that could have been done, but the Judge in charge, ruled against Mr. Danko at every turn. The actual reason I did not win my case was my fault, not Mr. Danko's. If I had brought a better "prepared" case to Mr. Danko, with all my "ducks in a row", I would have won, but what I had was not enough. Now for the other part you won't believe. A few weeks at my case was all said and done, I received an order/judgment against me for the Legal fees of the defendant. That's right. Not only did I lose my case, I had to pay the Attorney Fees for the defendant! I could not believe it, but guess what happened? Mr. Danko took responsibility for that judgment! You heard right. My Lawyer, Mr. James Danko, felt it was his fault I received that judgement. Now I have never had much use for Lawyers, and my feelings about them as a group has never been that high, but I will tell you this, as long as I'm alive and as long as Mr. Danko practices law (and I can reach him), Mr. Danko will be my lawyer. He will also be the lawyer I recommend to everyone that will stand still long enough. Mr. Danko is a Lawyer in downtown Charleston, SC. He deserves every dime he charges. One time he helped an old fat man that could not afford him. He lost money. He gained a friend.

Great expertise

I consulted Mr. Danko regarding a dispute that occurred after closing of a recent real estate purchase. He got me in to talk with him very quickly, performed a thorough review of the situation and the supporting documentation, and discussed a full range of options available to me. He spent 2 hours ...discussing the pros and cons of each option (some of which I hadn't even previously considered), and gave me his advice regarding the matter. I was able to proceed confidently, knowing that if I needed to hire him to pursue further legal action, I would be well-represented by someone who is well-versed on the matter and a true advocate for my position. I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing legal advice or representation in real-estate matters, and will not hesitate to return to him again should I have any need to do so in future.
