I'm not a professional criminal; however, I have made a few mistakes that required legal representation in General Sessions Court on a few occasions. I met Victor leaving my first or second appearance in General Sessions court and asked him if he was a Criminal Defense Lawyer and he said yes. He told... me to come by his office for a Free Initial Consultation to discuss the facts of the case to determine the next course of action. Long story short I was facing 10 years on an Assault/Battery High Aggravated Nature and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm Charges. The only thing Victor promised to do was to represent me to his fullest capacity and that was fair enough. I didn't have any other choice anyway! I plead to guilty because I was guilty; however, I was sentenced to 1 year probation with a fine! I was so happy! Last case i would like to share involved a DUI. I was pulled over one mile from Clemson rd for driving over the posted speed limit. I was asked to step out the car and asked to participate in a field sobriety test. I refused the test. I was taken the jail and bonded out. However, my drivers license privileges were revoked. Subsequently, i was released and contacted Victor Li. He initiated his investigation and determined that the dash camera had not recorded the traffic stop!!! The DUI was thrown out; however, I was guilty of implied consent because once you accept a Drivers License in SC you basically agree to submit to testing. I had my license revoked for 6 MONTHS if i can properly remember but that's better than a DUI conviction because i did not have to get SR-22! Plus, I drive Trucks for myself now and I do very well! Im able to support my family and I would not be able to do so if it were not for Victor Li.
