Biography
Mr. Shealey attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a BA in 2001. After finishing his undergraduate work and exploring what career paths excited him the most, Brian chose to study law in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from New England Law in 2007. Mr. Shealey worked for 5 years at the Richland County Public Defender’s Office before establishing the Shealey Law Firm, LLC.
Mr. Shealey has spent the majority of his legal career defending the most violent charges, including clients charged with murder, armed robbery, rape and burglary. Throughout his career, Mr. Shealey has achieved an impressive number of acquittals at trial, but he always attempts to use his courtroom success in an effort to shield future clients from the risks of trial by getting favorable results before ever entering a courtroom. The time spent fighting for his client’s rights in trial has given him a unique set of experiences that he enjoys putting to work for all of his clients in his every day practice. Mr. Shealey is admitted to practice in all South Carolina State and Federal Courts.
