I spoke with several other attorneys in the Myrtle Beach area after I got into a bit of a jam with the legal system when down in Myrtle Beach. I needed to find an attorney that would take genuine interest in my case. My career requires that I have an impeccable record as I have security clearnenc...es that would jeopardized if convicted.. I explained the situation and my account to several other attorneys as i moved down my list of them from this site and general internet searches.. All of whom I had to jump through their paralegals to get ahold of. They were all quick to offer potential outcomes which benefitted them - plea bargains / pleading to a lesser charge / community services. They are more interested in getting your money versus the pursuit of justice. Then I spoke with Lacey directly and it was a breath of fresh air. Any attorney that is worth their weight specializes in specific areas. And Criminal is the toughest game with the biggest risk. If you are considering others and they offer Criminal / Personal Injury and Wills ..... proceed with caution. At the risk of sounding cheesy here, I will say that I feel like God had his hand in connecting me with Lacey. First of all, i hardly ever write reviews, but lacey went above and beyond for me. I got into some trouble while on vacation in surfside beach, south carolina. I had a 3 or 4 charges against me and am from cincinnati, ohio. I didnt know how any of this was going to work. I called a few lawyers that w...eren't very helpful until I found lacey's law office. She seemed totally eager to help me out, and the price was very fair compared to the others I had called. All in all, i was worried about how I was going to travel back to SC to go to court and she was there, fighting for me every step of the way. Even though, it was a tough battle, she never gave in to any of the plea bargains and my case was totally dismissed. Anyway, highly recommend lacey!! She always let me know what was happening, every step of my case, and her and her co workers (mindi) knew me by name if i were to call. Thats a really good feeling. She knew exactly what she was doing and I always had a positive intuition everything would be taken care of, to our advantage. Again, on top of all that, she was totally affordable.
