Review Posted to GoogleI reached out to this law firm to discuss an urgent tax matter for a business. I made an appointment with Mr. Prescott for September 5th, and met in person. He proposed his plan for assistance, and said he would charge $12,000 to assist, and requested $6000 paid up front. He un...derstood that the first matter at hand was to request an extension with the department at hand. He got paid his up front fee on the 5th, and I submitted revelant paperwork on the 6th and the 9th, and did not hear back from him. I reached out on the 11th to remind him of the deadline that we had to meet of the 19th. He ignored my messages. I called the office, and they did not answer, nor return my call. I was told from another attorney that the entity we were dealing with would not accept extensions. I then requested a refund from Mr. Prescott on the 17th for services not rendered. He finally responded on September 24th, requesting a follow up the following afternoon, he said "my typical habit is to do the relevant work and then follow up when I have news." I immediately responded, letting him know that my deadline passed and his services were no longer needed. He put me in a very stressful situation as I tried to complete everything I needed completed in a very short period of time. Today is October 4th, and I am yet to hear from him. I don't see how he has so many five star reviews, when his service is lacking. This seems like a situation where he saw an opportunity and took advantage of potential client by taking so much money up front. I hope no one gets duped as I did with this attorney. I hope he makes things right by cancelling our "agreement" and refunding the money that was paid to him. Update 05/09/2025: Since I posted this review 5 people have reached out to me to tell me about how they are also having a bad experience with this attorney, they are scared to write something negative because he has their money or documents. I HIGHLY reccommend people do their proper research before deciding to use this attorney. It seems my negative experience was not a one time thing, and he consistently takes advantage of other people.
