Mr. Grabenstein was one of the most attentive, attorneys I have ever come into contact with. I only wish I could hire him for all my attorney needs. He gets the job done and does not waste any time in doing so. Extremely dependable, will step up and lead if need be, when the others may be slacking. Very pleasant, easy to reach, and has a great assistant you may speak to if he is busy, Pat. You will be very well pleased with them. He worked for me over a year on a difficult, and unusual case involving two other attorneys for him to keep track of. He is a credit to his profession

I can honestly say, I do not think there is a better attorney out there. Most people who are exceptionally knowledgeable in their area have no people skills. Mr. Grabenstein is very personable, and always willing to take the time to fully explain something to you. Every single time I sent him an email, he would reply to me within 24 hours (and I sent lots of emails). Because I was not so knowledgeable in the area of my particular case (we were dealing with a trustee who transferred a large portion of our trust to his wife without telling anyone, and without filing the paperwork until days before the property in the trust was being sold) , he would explain everything as many times as it would take to get me to understand. Then he would present me with my options. I never felt like he told me what to do, he always helped guide me through my decisions. He worked very well with the other two attorneys involved with the case, and I could tell (from interaction in mediation with other attorneys and mediator) that he is extremely well respected. He helped us recover a large sum of money in mediation without having to go to trial (although, I did kind of want to go to trial, because I knew having him as an attorney with our case we would prevail). I do not live in North Carolina (the issue I had to use him with was in North Carolina), but I wish I could use him any time I needed a lawyer.

Steve is very intelligent and knows the laws and how to settle by
mediation as well as courtroom if needed. I feel very confident that
Steve can represent any person or firm in any situation.
I highly recommend Steve.
