Re-doing my trust after moving here from out of state...I had lots of questions and Andy was always very forthcoming with good cheer! I particularly liked the way he brought in his support staff when we were reviewing and making changes so the changes were made "real time" and I could trust they were... being made. Andy AND his staff have been great during this whole process...I highly recommend him.

Andy Strauss's firm motto is "We Do Estate Planning. We do it Well." That about encompasses it all! I have been involved in my own or my parents' estate planning with this firm and Andy in particular since 1998. His office is efficient, professional and friendly. His key staff have been around... for years, which is very helpful as well as reassuring. Andy knows his area of expertise very well and is able to articulate this well to me. Due to the complexity and my unfamiliarity of estate planning and finance it, I often must have a repeat lesson on why we did something in the manner in which we did, and he is unfailingly patient and thorough in his explanations. This firm is simply great to work with and do an excellent job.

I have worked with Andy for nearly a quarter century, so it is safe to say we have some history. It is difficult for a layman to evaluate a professional's expertise. After all, one hires professionals for access to expertise. But it is not difficult to evaluate a professional on many other levels.... First and foremost, Andy is the best communicator I know. He makes sure he understands exactly what you are trying to do and in so doing, makes sure you yourself understand exactly what you are trying to do. He then expeditiously translates your plans and objectives into clear legal documentation. OK, possibly there is no such thing. But Andy explains what he has done so well and clearly that even the very inexperienced can follow along. Secondly, I can easily evaluate his responsiveness. Andy has responded to me within hours of my every inquiry, even on a Sunday evening. Finally, It is one thing to prepare legal documentation, such as Trusts, Wills and the like, but it is quite another to defend the work involved clearly and persuasively. Andy helped me respond to an IRS challenge in such a manner that the matter was dropped immediately, and believe me, the issues were complex. I could not ask for a finer attorney or a more responsive friend than Andy Strauss.

Things weren't easy when my husband and I first went to Andy Strauss about making Trusts. We received excellent help and advice then. After my husband's death I needed to re-work my own Trust, and again, it would be hard to imagine better service from him himself, as well as others in his office. I w...ould certainly return to him as needed and would be happy to recommend him to anyone.
