Incredibly knowledgable and wise - such a wonderful and reassuring experience!

Andy helped us set up our estate plans after my mother past away. Without his and his team's help, I would have been completely overwhelmed at an already difficult time. Now I rest easy, confident in the knowledge that I have provided for my family and my own long-term stability.

Excellence in every sense

I have worked with Andy for nearly a quarter century, so it is safe to say we have some history. It is difficult for a layman to evaluate a professional's expertise. After all, one hires professionals for access to expertise. But it is not difficult to evaluate a professional on many other levels.... First and foremost, Andy is the best communicator I know. He makes sure he understands exactly what you are trying to do and in so doing, makes sure you yourself understand exactly what you are trying to do. He then expeditiously translates your plans and objectives into clear legal documentation. OK, possibly there is no such thing. But Andy explains what he has done so well and clearly that even the very inexperienced can follow along. Secondly, I can easily evaluate his responsiveness. Andy has responded to me within hours of my every inquiry, even on a Sunday evening. Finally, It is one thing to prepare legal documentation, such as Trusts, Wills and the like, but it is quite another to defend the work involved clearly and persuasively. Andy helped me respond to an IRS challenge in such a manner that the matter was dropped immediately, and believe me, the issues were complex. I could not ask for a finer attorney or a more responsive friend than Andy Strauss.

Excellent attorney

I am an attorney in WNC and was recommended to Andy by several fellow lawyers. Andy effectively and efficiently prepared complicated detailed estate planning documents for my husband and I. All documents were explained in detail. Andy never rushed through our conferences and we felt like he took... as much time as needed to adequately explain our estate plan to us. I highly recommend Andy and plan to continue my assocaition with him.

Andy and his staff put us at ease on our first visit. We are a newly married lesbian couple tho we just celebrated our 30th anniversary. Our purpose for hiring Strauss and Associates was to make sure that the marriage status was considered in our estate planning We feel confident that our legal affai...rs are now in order, and that any new laws requiring our attention will be relayed to us by Strauss and Associates.
