Michael Chase Wells

From my younger days spent in Murphy, North Carolina, I was raised with the philosophy that all people are valuable in their own way.  I bring this philosophy into my career by trying to understand each client's true needs, not just what appears on the surface.  My work is different every day.  In one moment I may be buried in research on a fine point of law; in the next moment I'm on location with a camera gathering photos and information about a case.  I believe in seeing the big picture--not just how the law applies to a case, but what are the practical considerations that get my client from where they are to where they want to be.

Outside the practice of law, I frequent many local businesses and build relationships with the people of Haywood County.  I play music, tinker with computers, and occasionally paint.  My pride and my aspirations are firmly rooted in Western North Carolina and its people.  I look forward to many years of living and practicing law in this most beautiful place on earth.
