No I would not hire this attorney ever again. He was paid in full and took years to get in a courtroom. If I dare call him after he was paid he would never return calls or rarely if I did get him on the phone he would scream at me about he had other clients. This was years back but I remember how ...I was treated.

I needed a good attorney to handle my child support case, since it was coming from another state, and a few complicated matters going on. I was told that Lassiter would not begin to work my case until I paid him in full, and I paid him in full earlier this yr. He made 0 calls to the other state to fi...nd out about a final hearing, which actually delayed some info. needed for a hearing in NC, in addition, he hardly returned my calls and I had to drive with a fever once to his office, to be treated unfair. I did receive court dates and never papers in the mail from the law firm for the past 7 mos. showing updates on my case, I had to drive in person to the local courthouse to get papers needed about my case, In addition, his secretary-paralegal is extremely rude and even border line control of emails. I have been displeased with the level of service I have received, and my ex husband had plenty of time to get a good lawyer during the longevity of my entire case, which has put me behind in my bills. Please try to find another family law attorney,

As a single mom, I didn’t have a lot of money to pay a consultation fee for an attorney. Mr. Lassiter agreed to see me for free. I didn’t know what to think at first, but five minutes in, he set my mind at ease. He got me custody, I have kept custody, and he got me child support started too. i ha...ve always found him professional and he’s never been anything but kind to me and my family. Makes me wonder if my ex’s mom (or some other crazy in-law) wrote the review below. Insert eye roll.

Comes off as concerned, very nice girl, until you pay him! Then no phone calls, extremely rude staff that is only 2. Dont prepare for court, dont file documents. Allowed other side to present all lies. We had notebook binder full of proof dad and his parents use drugs, lots of violence, alchohol, etc.... We were ofcourse not happy, said he would file for new hearing never did. Didnt even do anything about baby being snatched from mom and no car seat. We basically paid him $2500 to give over the poor child and place an order in courts that is very harmful for our innocent child. Very incompetant, very unproffesional. The only way you can get him to return your call is if you upset his sweetie in the office. Then you will get a lashing about that, but he wont discuss your case. Oh and my friend had her hearing a couple weeks later and lost 50% of her custody that she had in place for years to another drug user. You better not hire him, its almost like he really does work for the opposite side.
