LAST CLEAR CHANCE

Mr. Weeks handled my case in the most professional matter. We not only tried it in Superior Court, Appeals Court (3 times) and the NC SUPREME COURT. I could not have asked for better representation! His honesty and integrity were above that of all . He was no match for the plethora of attorneys that ...the insurance company placed before us!

Couldn't ask for better

My wife and I were in a car accident a few years ago. Mr. Weeks' representation ensured us a good result as well as took away our responsibility and hassle of dealing with insurance adjusters that did not have our interest at heart. Though Mr. Weeks has handled much larger cases with much larger se...ttlements offered than ours he and his staff always treated our case as if it were worth $1,000,000. We appreciate their efforts on our behalf and would contact he and his team if we were ever in a position to need a personal injury attorney again.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Steve since he first began practicing law in Carteret County in 1982. From the outset, Steve demonstrated a great ability in the courtroom which has only improved with time. I have tried cases both against and with Steve, and I have previously stated, under oath, and continue to believe, that Steve is one of the finest, if not the finest, trial lawyer in Eastern North Carolina."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
