We came to them with questions, they told us give them time. We waited, and waited. Gave them time to work us in. Trust the process, they have given us the ability to have access to the best doctors in the country. As a special needs parents you know that is immeasurable. Don’t hesitate, and please j...ust relax and let them do their thing-they will have every answer to what really happened. They are color blind in the fight -and teach you how to read medical records so your better educated and equipped to deal with these doctors when they come shucking and jive’n in the room with the fast talking. They will get you justice, but you have to remember. They have the power to help you soooooooo much just be humble and accepting of their advice. Even years later, I now see things-they told us back then. They changed our lives and I wake up everyday in awe, just amazed at the life and options I have available to make my daughters life better. I can literally move across the street from whatever specialist and take her around the country for second options and if we ever have to do another surgical procedure, I have the option of asking “who is the best in the country, I want them too do it !”- looking the docs straight in the face, wmd that’s powerful! You never have to be subjected to second hand service just because it’s in your network. They give you the ability to open your network, and once again- if your kid is like ours. That’s hope, and when your walking this walk -hope is all that keeps us going. God bless them, give them a try.
