Hard working, honest and no nonsense

I worked in the legal profession years ago in Princeton, NJ and when I needed an excellent divorce attorney, I contacted my former employer for a referral and Connie was the number one name on the list. Connie was awesome -- she put me at ease at what was clearly the most difficult time of my life -...- ending a 28 year marriage. At my initial consultation, Connie gave me a clear picture of what to expect and opened my eyes to possible twists and turns the process could -- and did in fact -- take. I left the initial consultation with a sense of ease and confidence that I had not felt for months. I then made the best decision: I turned the legal handling of my divorce over to Connie so I could focus on getting myself through this emotional time. Connie fought for me, kept me focused on the end game and was supportive throughout. When I felt overwhelmed or frightened, she was right there to get me back on track. Her insight and knowledge are invaluable and she was always at least two steps ahead. Connie was able to keep emotions out of the proceedings and focus on the facts -- and the emotions were high and unstable on the other side yet she remained steady, calm and I'll say it again -- FOCUSED so we could reach an agreement. I was beyond impressed with Connie in the Courtroom -- she was polished in her delivery of my case and gave on point, direct answers to the Judge. When opposing counsel tried to cloud the issues with tangents and mountains/boxes and boxes of paperwork, Connie very calmly brought it back to the issues at hand and clearly the Judge appreciated it -- he even commented on her professional reputation and how grateful he was that a case as multi-faceted as mine was in her hands. My divorce required several court appearances, and at each one I was extremely impressed that almost every attorney waiting for cases to be heard would approach Connie and speak with her, clearly she is held in high esteem with her colleagues as well. Divorce is never easy, both the legal and emotional aspects can be lengthy procedures. The best advice I can offer to anybody facing divorce is to turn the legal aspect over to Connie so you are free to focus on getting yourself and your family through the emotional part as in tact as possible. Connie's paralegal, Jennifer, is equally as awesome, She is calming, efficient and really listened to my concerns. Connie and Jennifer are a great team! I was so overwhelmed and blindsided by my divorce, I don't know that I would have made it through without them!

Agree with "Deplorable" and "Awful"

I agree with both of the reviews here giving Connie 1 star... one titled "Deplorable" and the other one "Awful". I had a very similar experience and definitely felt like her cash cow and that she was not there to truly work for me. I wasted thousands of dollars of my hard-earned money and over a year... of time that led to nothing but stress, frustration and no results. After spending tens of thousands of dollars, I too fired her and was able for a fraction of the cost, get excellent results through Haley Harden of Harden Law Firm. If you are no longer truly interested in helping good, hard-working people, and only care about who you can nickel and dime to death during some of the most difficult times in their lives, it's time to retire. And if you insist on continuing to practice perhaps you should look into EQ training. I don't know how you can be a family law attorney with negative EQ. Perhaps criminal defense would've been more her forte. Sadly, though, that's not where the money is at.
