FOUR PILLARS SUCCESSFULLY LED OUR BATTLE FOR VETERANS BENEFITS

As my parents struggled with the financial burden of my father's ongoing medical expenses, social workers told me there were no resources available to help. Yet, within minutes of meeting Kelly Shovelin, she ascertained that my father, a veteran of the Korean War, was indeed eligible for Veteran's B...enefits. Kelly skillfully guided us through the arduous application and approval process (in our case, it took seven months!) with a steadfast and thorough approach. Thanks to her efforts, my father now receives a monthly disability pension of $1949.00 per month to defray his medical expenses. Best of all, my parents and I have restored peace of mind, knowing they won't be financially crippled by my father's ongoing medical costs.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
