From the beginning of this legal process (after being referred to Katie from a trusted, astute lawyer), to hearing the verdict of my DWI and Unsafe driving charge being dismissed, to now starting the process of getting my charges expunged, I am soooo happy that I made the right choice in trusting Kat...ie with my life! I don’t know where to start but Ms. Katie literally saved me. I had gotten a Dwi and She saved me from everything that could have gone wrong. I had a lawyer in the past and he was supposedly top lawyer in Charlotte but he treated me like I was just another number and his whole staff was cold . I real...ly regretted hiring him and wish I had Katie back then too. In early 2019 I was involved in a peculiar dwi case and it was my very first time in any type of criminal trouble. I was very stressed the following days, but immediately felt better after my initial consultation with Ms. Clary. The consultation put me at ease as she asked very specific questions, an...swered all my questions, and informed me of things I was very unaware of. She took very detailed notes and I definitely felt confident in her ability to resolved my case after the consultation so I didn’t even consult with anyone else. I decided she was the right one and hired her. The date of my court case was eventually pushed back a few times and then pushed back a year further due to COVID, but Ms. Clary and her assistant made sure to keep me very updated. Once the actual court case was approaching on July 2021, I received a call from her to further explain what the plan of approach was for my case. I knew I had the best lawyer by my side, but I was completely blown away at how well she handled herself in the courtroom. I arrived a bit early and overheard prosecutors refer to my case as the “Clary case” instead of using my name so they must’ve known she’s a tough lawyer. The plaintiff’s table was made up of three attorneys and the arresting trooper behind them, while it was just Ms. Clary and I on the defendant’s table. I’ll admit that seeing 3 prosecutors was a bit intimidating, but Ms. Clary was completely unfazed by it. The level of preparedness she came with was outstanding. I noticed she brought along the very same notes she had taken during my initial consultation more than 2 years prior. She presented a precedent court case that even the judge was impressed by. She takes so many notes that even her pen was begin to go low on ink. I don’t much about criminal law, but even I can tell the the plaintiff’s table was not ready to go up against Ms. Clary. They were often times scrambling through their files in order to counter argue and even left them speechless a few times. One prosecutors in particular would turn red at the face because he could not counter argue against Ms. Clary’s evidence. Watching my court case play out in front of me, I felt I was in great hands. It was clear that my lawyer’s only goal was to win my court case, any other outcome was not an option. In the end she delivered exactly what she expected, finding me not guilty and having me expunged. She also informed me on what was next for me after being found not guilty. As we’re walking out, someone even tells her “every time I watch you, I learn something new”. That’s the type of lawyer everyone should want, one that’s a leader in her field and revered by her peers. I was more than delighted with the outcome she delivered, felt so much relief once the judge said “not guilty”. Hopefully I don’t find myself in any legal trouble again, but I’ll know who to depend in the future.

My lawyer Katie Clary was phenomenal in defending me in a criminal case that was supposed to resolved several years ago. Mrs. Clary even doing an re-organization of the DA's office which delayed the process of her speaking with the DA office on my case. Katie kept me informed of the delays and how ...she was going to proceed with my case. She was very informative in letting me know the direction we were going to go in resolving my case and her words were very comforting. When she was able to get me a court date Mrs. Clary informed of the date with plenty of time for me to make arrangements to be in attendance. We met ahead of our court time and we went over my case. Katie was very prepared for all negative statements by the DA to keep my previous disposition. When we were in court Mrs. Clary stood tall and her statements and responses to the questions from the judge and DA were phenomenal. She was professional, confidence and in control of the situation and I could tell that Mrs. Clary for there for me (the client) and not the attorney fraternity. I was so impressed when Katie was speaking to the judge and the DA that I at times just was looking at Mrs. Clary and my mind was saying "wow". I was nervous but Katie gave me confidence that she was going to make sure my disposition would be changed and that I would be given a fair judgement. I felt like I was on the tv show NYPD or Criminal Justice...lol This woman who is short in height but tall in stature. Katie Clary is a beautiful and excellent attorney. I was recommending her and your legal team even before my court date because of the professionalism and being updated constantly during a DA re-organizing and a pandemic and I definitely recommend her now.
