Child Custody

The first thing that impressed me with Ms Coffey was how easy it was to get in touch with her. She stopped what she was doing when she was on vacation to speak with me about my case. As an unmarried father of a child, I had no rights to my son. I never expected that I could get primary custody as tha...t is usually awarded to the mother. With horrible allegations made against me, I was hoping just to get visitation. Ms Coffey encouraged me to go for primary custody, and we WON!!! So thankful that we found Ms Coffey and I took her advise to go for primary custody!! She did a great job!

Temporary Protective Order and Divorce

Shannon is representing me in a divorce case and defended me in a TPO hearing prior to the divorce case. Shannon was excellent, fully prepared, listened to my side of all the allegations and won a dismissal of my wife's request for a permanent protective order. My wife's allegations were unfounded fr...om the beginning but she wanted me out of the house. Shannon exposed my wife's motives and during her closing arguments, she was concise and conclusive. I am very pleased I chose Shannon to represent me and protect and my childrens' future as we proceed with the divorce.

Great Attorney!

Shannon represented me in an effort to get my child support reduced in 6/10. I had been paying a large sum, lost my job, and my unemployment did not even cover my child support. She was able to get it reduced by almost 43%. She kept me informed the whole way and was able to get it reduced during m...ediation and we never went to court where more costs would have been incurred. As my child support obligation draws to a close, she took the time to meet with me just so I could have the peace of mind that is was really over. She knows and understands the law, when to move and when to be patient, and just did a fantastic job overall. I would recommend her to anyone in need of good, knowledgeable representation.

Hire Shannon

I hired Shannon to take care of a custody issue and I wished I knew her when I went through the divorce. I met a lot of competent attorneys in my life but unlike many of them, she is efficient, organized, and does not take her time to run the clock. One of the things I noticed right away, she eithe...r had a great memory or takes good notes. I was not wasting $ and time re-telling the same story. She is a hawk in court and a great counselor in person. I heard my Atlanta judge say and I quote " I am not used dealing with organized and efficient attorneys like you Ms. Coffey". I highly recommend Shannon because of her integrity as a person and credibility as an attorney.

A lawyer to trust

I can not say enough positive about Shannon. She is confident, and during your case gives you her undivided legal attention. She reminds you to maintain reasonable expectations, does not sugar coat things, and keeps you informed. One of my favorite things about Shannon is how she is respected among ...her peers. She just simply does her job and does it well and that earns her the respect deserved. My second favorite quality is her "fight for you" mentally. On your day in court she will go into that court room and fight for you. She will be the legal mouthpiece you need to get your problem solved. I trust Shannon with everything. She has been my attorney for 5 years and has always done what is best for me but even better helped me maintain what was best for my kids.
