Shannon Cahill Coffey

Shannon and I worked together to fight a petition to modify the existing consent order for the custody of my 10-year-old son. Shannon and I worked very carefully on the current consent order (that was being petitioned for modification) in 2010. Shannon remembered both me and my case from 4 years ag...o and immediately jumped in to get the ball rolling to both show reason to deny the petition for modification and file an immediate counterclaim to ensure that my parental rights were being protected. Shannon prepared stunning visuals to be used during my trial so that the judge was able to get a snapshot of the 5-year time period in question very easily with no confusion. I was told by the mediator and other law professionals that I had only a 35% chance of winning my case. After a grueling 12-hour trial, the judge awarded me with exactly what we were seeking! Shannon remained steadfast and sharp throughout the entire trial, despite the crunch for time we faced near the end. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The first thing that impressed me with Ms Coffey was how easy it was to get in touch with her. She stopped what she was doing when she was on vacation to speak with me about my case. As an unmarried father of a child, I had no rights to my son. I never expected that I could get primary custody as tha...t is usually awarded to the mother. With horrible allegations made against me, I was hoping just to get visitation. Ms Coffey encouraged me to go for primary custody, and we WON!!! So thankful that we found Ms Coffey and I took her advise to go for primary custody!! She did a great job!

Shannon is representing me in a divorce case and defended me in a TPO hearing prior to the divorce case. Shannon was excellent, fully prepared, listened to my side of all the allegations and won a dismissal of my wife's request for a permanent protective order. Shannon represented me in an effort to get my child support reduced in 6/10. I had been paying a large sum, lost my job, and my unemployment did not even cover my child support. She was able to get it reduced by almost 43%. She kept me informed the whole way and was able to get it reduced during m...ediation and we never went to court where more costs would have been incurred. As my child support obligation draws to a close, she took the time to meet with me just so I could have the peace of mind that is was really over. I can not say enough positive about Shannon. She is confident, and during your case gives you her undivided legal attention.
