Shannon Cahill Coffey

Shannon is my Angel!! She went above and beyond the call of duty to be an advocate for my child and me. She personally interjected opposing council's underhanded attempt to slide in additional constraints on standard court forms. She was busy with other cases at the time of my case as well, but she a...lways made my case her only thought when she was talking with me, and she remembered in great detail the key points of our position. There were some situations that came up during my case that she was able to shed light on based on similar cases that she had studied; she highlighted the pertinent parts of those cases to help me make difficult decisions based on her research as well as her discernment of the details of our plight. Shannon soundly advised me on the possible outcomes of any action or inaction on my part and wether or not my worries were valid. The true value of this special touch was found in a good night's sleep when it was overdue, and a quiet mind amidst trial day jitters. Before, during, and after my case I felt that Shannon had veiled my family in her protection, she knows the law inside and out and used it's perimeters to regain a comfortable life for us. I had never had to work with a lawyer on a long-term basis (and hopefully I never will again), so some of the process was unfamiliar and frustrating. I retained Shannon to finish up a child custody case that had been open for close to three years. She basically had two months to catch up (without any input from my previous counsel), determine the best strategy, follow up on said strategy, and competently represent me at the final hearing. I cou...ld use 400,000 characters (as opposed to the allotted 4,000) describing her level of professionalism, competence, knowledge of the law, energy, and compassion and still need more space.
