M. Anthony Burts II

Mr. Burts assisted me with a speeding ticket, and as this was my first time, I was unsure of what to do or whether or not to get representation. Upon deciding to get representation, I avoided what would have been excessive court fees (paid a reduced amount) and got the level of my citation lowered. C...ommunication was great about what actions he was doing on my behalf, what information he needed from me, and I was essentially worry free.

Mr. Burts is patient, soft-spoken and respectful. He treated my undeserved traffic violation with the same energy I am sure larger cases receive. The cryptic NC rules and regs are designed to confuse and exasperate. The last thing I wanted to do was hire an attorney...and there are enough ambulanc...e chasers out there. But given an attorney's clout (vs. a citizen) it was in my best interest. Mr. Burts successfully reduced my violation to a "non-violation" which wasn't an obvious quick-fix. More than that, he was responsive, kind, forth-right and a straight shooter. He did what he said he was going to do. And he follows up. In a world of "takers for the taking sake" Mr. Burts rises above that -- and is truly helpful. He made a very stressful situation caused by NC inane laws- go away. That was worth the fee.
