my wife is from Brazil and we met here in the South Carolina. we married and immediately began immigration process with an attorney from Orlando, Florida. attorney was recommended to us. one never knows how things work unless you experience first hand. being the sponsor, every bit of personal informa...tion about me and my past and documents that supports were requested of me. wasn't prepared for it but I got through it. so finally about 6 months get an interview date and we went without an attorney. big mistake. thought everything would be fine. I was asked to leave the room and the lady began an interrogation about my wifes past and how she got her Visa. my understanding of the initial interview was to show government that our marriage was legit and real. we loved each other and had nothing to hide. had 2 scrap books full of our life just from 6 months been together. well 2 weeks later, we receive a notice in mail denying our application for green card. claim was wife committed fraud. not true and we were upset and scared. attorney we hired to began the process just wasn't qualified in my eyes. My husband came here on a work visa. He over stayed his visa and we applied for an adjustment of status. We did a FOIA in November 2016. Received it by March 2017. We then started the process. By May 2017 he had his work authorization and social. We went for our interview Sept 21. Immigration was a b...it slow to approve it but it got approved Jan26 2018. During the process Marylynn stayed in contact and provided amazing customer service. If I had a question I sent her and email or called and she was back to me the same day with a response. I often hear of people having a hard time to getting in touch with their lawyers and not once did I have that problems and that really counted a lot.
