Janice Coulter is the best child support lawyer in Charlotte, NC. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my child's best interests are met. She is straight forward, honest, and loyal. I used Ms. Coulter twice. Once to get visitation for my son when the mother of my child did everything she could to keep me away. Janice was a pit bull in court and I loved how she was up front and no BS with me. I once again had to use her when my son revealed that his mother and step father were... physically abusing him. She was able to get me full custody and protected my son from them. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about below but I would not use any other lawyer! She fights for the father's rights. She is very knowledgeable and I knew exactly what my court dates were and what I needed to do. I can not say enough about her.

Omg were do i begin. .mrs coulter was so terrific n amazing in her job its like she was a angel in disguise. She made me feel better and at ease with my case never Did i feel scared of anything cause i had her by my side she always found a solution to any concerns.My divorce and equitable distribsion... was quick even tbough with the court procedures .I dont want To leave her right hand paralegal out she is so amazing sweet n caring n awesome always treated me with love n concern n respect .Mrs janice coulter n her law firm is awesome n i can tell u this much in the future if i would need a lawyer i dont have to search ,they just added another client to there list that will always come back to them. .awesome lawyer.

Janice is a quality, top-tier attorney. She is compassionate with difficult situations, taking care to help her clients through challenging circumstances. But more than that, she knows how to protect her clients in regards to alimony, child support and division of assets. I found her to be very compr...ehensive in her management of my case, ensuring I was protected during the proceedings and - more importantly - well into my future. She will not be intimidated. She is a hard-nosed negotiator and won't settle for anything less than what she deems appropriate. I highly recommend Janice and her firm.

I've read the negative reviews here and, to be honest, have to defend Ms. Coulter. She has been my lawyer for a number of years and I would make the following observations: 1) She is very blunt, she will not sugar coat things, and she will not just say what you want to hear. She will tell you the tr...uth, and she will do so very clearly. 2) She has been around the Charlotte family law circuit for some time - she knows most of the lawyers and judges, and knows how to deal with them. 3) She is not afraid to take the gloves off in court and take advantage of in-experience or lack of preparation on the part of opposing counsels. 4) If you want someone who will be honest with you, are prepared to listen to her and take her advice (rather than sticking to your own pre-conceived notions of what you want regardless of what the law says/case precedent), then Janice is your lawyer. If, on the other hand, you want someone who will take your money and say what you want to hear, and not care about your case or results, then you should look elsewhere. Personally, I would highly recommend Janice Coulter.
