Ms. Coulter stood by my side over five years and guided me as I dealt with my ex who had destroyed us financially and was a bully for 15 years. She helped me stand up for my own self that I hadn't been able to do for years. I agree that she gives so much of herself and focuses so much on each clien...t that sometimes things do get missed. That is such a minor concern that if would never keep me from returning to her if need be. Just follow up yourself. If the end you will get justice. She told me upfront, "I want only the truth from you. I won't represent you if you lie about anything." She has been nothing but completely frank, loyal, clear, understated, and doesn't let you think things will go well if she doesn't think they will, shes a realist. She will be straight with you. The judges respect her and she knows so much about the law community that her insights will serve you well. Worth every dime!

I used Ms. Coulter twice. Once to get visitation for my son when the mother of my child did everything she could to keep me away. Janice was a pit bull in court and I loved how she was up front and no BS with me. I once again had to use her when my son revealed that his mother and step father were... physically abusing him. She was able to get me full custody and protected my son from them. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about below but I would not use any other lawyer! She fights for the father's rights. She is very knowledgeable and I knew exactly what my court dates were and what I needed to do. I can not say enough about her.

I plan on filing a grievance with the state concerning her practices...I really can't comprehend how an attorney that is this bad has stayed in business this long. I unfortunately was somehow referred to her by an attorney that won a case for my brother in another area of law....I agree with the pre...vious poster 100%....it turns out all she cares about is trying to get to court so she can make her money.....she is highly unorganized and purposely drags her feet on things to make her money...important notifications were always late, heck some of them I didn't even get , I always had to follow up later on and ask for the information to be emailed....as far as my court date , never received notification by mail or email....didn't know the date was set until my son's mother (the plantifff) told me 4 or 5 days after it had been set! .I agree, she is flat out rude and doesn't look at you like you are a client...that she works for you....she rudely ignored specific requests I had as far as finalizing an agreement between my son's mother and I outside of court...she doesn't understand that as an attorney she is there to provide counsel for you , provide advice, not to make your decisions for you...do not give this highly unprofessional attorney your hard earned money!

If I could give this lady a negative rating I would! She led me to believe my case was a slam dunk. She never listened to what I said even thought I was the client, never communicated important information, was rude, barely responded to my calls/emails, was uncooperative with the opposing attorney,... created more conflict with the opposing party and straight out lied. She was highly unprofessional and unethical. I was told all she wanted to do was go to court because that's where she makes her money, I didn't believe it but it was the truth. We even went to court and it was a flat out embarassement because of how unorganized she was. I would have been better off fighting my case myself and it would have saved a lot of money. #worstmistakeever
