Janice V. Coulter

I used Ms. Coulter twice. Once to get visitation for my son when the mother of my child did everything she could to keep me away. Janice was a pit bull in court and I loved how she was up front and no BS with me. I once again had to use her when my son revealed that his mother and step father were... physically abusing him. She was able to get me full custody and protected my son from them. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about below but I would not use any other lawyer! She fights for the father's rights. She is very knowledgeable and I knew exactly what my court dates were and what I needed to do. I can not say enough about her.

I've read the negative reviews here and, to be honest, have to defend Ms. Coulter. She has been my lawyer for a number of years and I would make the following observations: 1) She is very blunt, she will not sugar coat things, and she will not just say what you want to hear. She will tell you the tr...uth, and she will do so very clearly. 2) She has been around the Charlotte family law circuit for some time - she knows most of the lawyers and judges, and knows how to deal with them. 3) She is not afraid to take the gloves off in court and take advantage of in-experience or lack of preparation on the part of opposing counsels. 4) If you want someone who will be honest with you, are prepared to listen to her and take her advice (rather than sticking to your own pre-conceived notions of what you want regardless of what the law says/case precedent), then Janice is your lawyer. If, on the other hand, you want someone who will take your money and say what you want to hear, and not care about your case or results, then you should look elsewhere. Personally, I would highly recommend Janice Coulter.
