I can't get ahead with custody due to her piss poor representation. One lawyer quoted me extra "to clean up her mess"...or "my mess too because I'm the one that hired her"is what he said. She never called on time, an hour would go by before she finally called, being neive, I had to make edits to docu...ments she drafted, she almost had myself and herself sanctioned $17,000 due to her being late on everything (luckily she's one of the judges supporters, so her donations may have saved her) oh to top it off, she was 20 minutes late to court, she has me go to the stand to be questioned, but due to her lateness was not able to question the other party in my custody hearing. Make sure you find a real "lawyer" and not a Dollar Tree lawyer, she sets the tone for the rest of any hearings that may come. She's a scam artist, not a lawyer.

Disappointed with Representation and Communication I hired Elizabeth Carlene Dantism for a child-custody matter and was very disappointed with the experience. Communication was poor—my calls and messages often went unanswered, and I rarely received timely updates on the status of my case. Several ...important items were filed late or nearly late, with repeated explanations about technical problems (computer, internet, printer, AC, etc.). These delays increased my stress and made me lose confidence in the handling of my case. I also felt my case did not receive the necessary attention. Basic tasks took longer than expected, and discussions about how my evidence would be handled left me uncomfortable and unclear about the plan. Meanwhile, I was frequently reminded about payments without seeing corresponding progress. Based on my experience, I would not hire this attorney again. If you’re considering working with her, I recommend asking specific questions upfront about communication, deadlines, and evidence-handling, and getting those commitments in writing.

This summer I had a terrible experience with this attorney. She consistently lied, failed to file paperwork when she said she would, and took my money without rendering the promised services. Family court is already hard and expensive enough without dealing with an attorney who treats you with the sa...me level of dishonesty and manipulation as the other side. I will never use her again. She is rude, unprofessional, and makes countless excuses. Her paperwork is always full of errors that could significantly impact your case. She shows up to court unprepared, looking disheveled and frumpy. During our conversations, she often forgot what she had previously said. Court dates are never within scope because she doesn’t file in time. The positive reviews must be written by herself because all the negative experiences people have shared can't be untrue. Avoid this attorney if you want someone reliable and professional.

Liz was hired for a few thousand dollars for a child custody and contempt case. It's been almost a year and still have not been to court or one document filed. Took weeks and weeks of calling and emailing in order to get the 1st draft of the documents that were filled with errors. Took a couple wee...ks after that to get the "final" documents. This should have already been filed and went to court. She didn't have a problem taking the money fast but ever since she has been paid, it's a struggle to get her to do anything she is supposed to do. What other option does one have after you've paid her all that money? Can't even go hire another attorney and this is my one shot because how can I come up with that kind of money again? After reading all the other reviews (and the good reviews seem like they are "bought" or done by associates of hers), she should not be allowed to practice law. Get your life together and do what you're paid to do.

There is nothing this lady did right. After wasting thousands I eventually fired her and represented myself getting the results I needed soon after. She was never prepared she was hard to get in touch with she never filed any paperwork on time and had an excuse as to why. I practically had to beg her... to do her job, a child custody case that could have easily been resolved got pushed back for months and months simply because of her lack of caring and never filing motions in a timely manner. I stuck around as long as I did because I had already paid her unfortunately but please save your money and protect your sanity. She made an already traumatizing experience ten times harder because she is who I paid for assistance and every hearing it felt as if she didn’t even know what client she was representing or what matter she was presenting on. Reminded me of when I used to study for a test the day before the test. She also showed up for hearings as if she had just woken up. Everything about her was unprofessional from her appearance to the way she handled my case. You are better off representing yourself than hiring her, which is what I did in the end and immediately got the results WE were aiming for at the start of the case simply by putting in the effort and speaking and countering to the judge instead of just letting what the opposing party said fly to get the hearing over with. Very disappointing attorney. I would rate zero stars if I could.
