Disappointed with Representation and Communication I hired Elizabeth Carlene Dantism for a child-custody matter and was very disappointed with the experience. Communication was poor—my calls and messages often went unanswered, and I rarely received timely updates on the status of my case. Several ...important items were filed late or nearly late, with repeated explanations about technical problems (computer, internet, printer, AC, etc.). These delays increased my stress and made me lose confidence in the handling of my case. I also felt my case did not receive the necessary attention. Basic tasks took longer than expected, and discussions about how my evidence would be handled left me uncomfortable and unclear about the plan. Meanwhile, I was frequently reminded about payments without seeing corresponding progress. Based on my experience, I would not hire this attorney again. If you’re considering working with her, I recommend asking specific questions upfront about communication, deadlines, and evidence-handling, and getting those commitments in writing.

This summer I had a terrible experience with this attorney. She consistently lied, failed to file paperwork when she said she would, and took my money without rendering the promised services. Family court is already hard and expensive enough without dealing with an attorney who treats you with the sa...me level of dishonesty and manipulation as the other side. I will never use her again. She is rude, unprofessional, and makes countless excuses. Her paperwork is always full of errors that could significantly impact your case. She shows up to court unprepared, looking disheveled and frumpy. During our conversations, she often forgot what she had previously said. Court dates are never within scope because she doesn’t file in time. The positive reviews must be written by herself because all the negative experiences people have shared can't be untrue. Avoid this attorney if you want someone reliable and professional.

Where do I begin- this attorney showed an unprecedented level of incompetence !! She collected thousands of dollars upfront and then immediately became impossible to reach. It took days to hear back from her and when I did it was usually with an excuse or useless dialogue. She met with me in person... once for 2 hours throughout the entire representation. I conducted my OWN legal research, spoon feed her precedents and statutes and provided a mountain of evidence. However, NONE of that was presented in court. She never objected to anything the opposing party said no matter how absurd nor any of their evidence - even things that a blind man would have challenged. She arrived with an unsorted stack of papers that was so jumbled that she held up court leafing through it and practically pressed her nose to the sheets in order to attempt to read anything. I do not believe she prepared for my hearing AT ALL despite having weeks to do so. I fired her before I even left the courtroom. Truly, I would have accomplished more representing myself. What little ground I managed to salvage of my case was purely by my own effort.
