P. Mercer Cauley

Mercer Cauley has dedicated his practice of law to immigration and nationality law since 2003. He has been a North Carolina Board Certified Immigration Specialist since 2014. Mercer has assisted many companies, individuals and entrepreneurs through the US business visa process. He has overseen processes with USCIS and the Department of Labor. He has extensive experience with PERM applications, H1b petitions, EB1 self petitioners, L1 applications, E-1/2 investors visas and immigration visa petitions.

His immigration practice has also focused on assisting families and individuals through the confusing and time consuming process of family based immigration. He has assisted over 200 families in their efforts to bring or keep their loved ones in the United States.

Mercer is also an experienced trial attorney with many years of trial practice in both state and federal courts. This experience has proven to be extremely valuable in representing families and individuals before the Immigration Court.

Mercer has had the amazing experience of working with nationals from around the world. Prior to practicing immigration law, he acted as a Regional Director for Teen Mania Ministries, an international mission’s organization. He was responsible for South America and Asia teams in addition to directing several projects throughout Africa. During those years he spent time overseeing projects in such countries as Ghana, Botswana, South Africa, Lebanon, Malaysia, Peru, Panama, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic and numerous others.

It was this period in his life which gave him to a passion for multicultural experiences and immigration. This passion continues to drive him and The Cauley Law firm in the practice of immigration law today.
