I was falsely accused of a crime that I did not commit 5 1/2 years ago. My wife and I had searched for the best criminal defense lawyer and we find Mr. Davis was the best attorney in Salisbury. When I first met Mr. Davis the thing that impressed me the most was a bible sitting at the top of his des...k. At the time I had not be saved but to see this bible sitting on his desk made me believe this was a man I could trust to defend me for a crime I did not commit. He represented me well and told me the truth about my case and was straight forward. His candor and his professionalism was very impressive and I knew that I had hired the right lawyer to defend me. Although I wanted to have a speedy trial Mr. Davis told me that in a criminal defense case time was our best defense. My wife and I took his recommendation and we waited. Although I waited 5 1/2 years for my case to go to trial, not the felt of Mr. Davis because the DA has to set the court date, my case was finally dismissed and I am a free man. Had my case gone to trail I feel very confident that we would have won because of Mr. Davis's knowledge of the judicial system and his knowledge of defending the innocent. During the time I waited to go to trail Mr. Davis was very loyal and I respected a person who shows loyalty. I would highly recommend Mr. Davis as a criminal defense attorney.

This attorney was first class. James took the time to listen to the facts and present them in a meticulous fashion. After hearing my story what felt like 50 times he made me feel comfortable in the courtroom by reassuring me that the truth never varies. His advice was perfect. When the jury came back... with a not guilty verdict after 9 minutes I knew he had done his job perfectly. James never mislead me in any shape or form. Excellent note taking in the courtroom and when it was time for the jury to hear the defense there was absolutely nothing left out. We had a number of motions that the judge wouldn't let the jury hear that would've made a positive impact on our case and when the judge didn't let us tell the whole story James and his team adapted and overcome all in our path to victory! Even with a police officer, ex wife, mother in law, and father in law testifying against myself James and his team made me believe in the justice system. I'll never be able to repay James, Candace, and Stacy for everything they have done for me and my family!

I just hired him a second time, to take care of the child custody matter clean up that resulted from those previous felonies, and he came through again! It turned out way better than I had hoped! Absolutely the best lawyer!!!! My case was had several revoked license charges and several other things dating back over 20 years . Mr. Davis was able to handle my charges and get me a DMV hearing to get my license reinstated. The hearing was a success and I got my license back!!! Throughout this ...whole process Mr. Davis lead me step by step keeping me updated on everything and what to expect through it all. His office staff is unbelievable, they keep me just as informed and made sure they called us to remind me of upcoming appointments and things I needed to bring to each court hearing or his office. Overall this was a great experience with the Davis Law Firm and would highly recommend them!!!! I can't thank them enough for all their hard work and dedication!!!
