Before I ever retained James as an attorney, I would hear how good of a lawyer he is in the circles that we shared. On first appearance, you see confidence, wisdom, professionalism, kindness, sincerity and humility. It is only after working with James is when you know James Davis, and breathe and d...epth of this gentleman. I was able to observe James as he worked diligently to know and understand all aspects of my case. James allowed me the privilege to work alongside him and the staff because of my experience and background. All of these amazing people, bring something unique to table and is done so by design. I witnessed James run the entire gambit of emotions along with me. Dress appropriately, act accordingly and behave in a manner befitting in church or a courtroom. These lawyers represent you and you represent them. You must be completely honest with these people. If you hide anything from them, then you limit their ability to help you. The truth will come forward and it is best coming from you. Also remember, this firm is sought out by others outside this county and are very busy. You will never be forgotten or overlooked! Put your trust in whichever religious deity you worship and turn the reigns over to this firm. Throughout the entirety of my case, I would explain and describe to others how this firm works. Several people have had the opportunity to witness first-hand this firm without being a client while being involved with my case. If you want the best, James Davis is the lawyer you want to hire. We hired James Davis to gain and ultimately keep custody of our grandson. For grandparents to obtain custody of their grandchild is extraordinarily difficult at best and requires a lawyer who knows every aspect of the legal system. Ove...r the course of several years we returned to court approximately every 3-6 months to maintain custody. Each time was extremely difficult and worrisome; however, with James by our side, we were always confident the outcome would be favorable. James does not sugar coat your problems and will tell you straight up what to expect, the outcome he is trying to achieve, and finally what could take place. Several times we were asked by James what we wanted him to do, each time we stated; “We hired you to do the best possible job and will leave the decisions in your hands.” We were never disappointed. When you first meet James, he comes across as very kind (which he is) and perhaps too gentle to take on a stronger more aggressive lawyer. In addition, we had a friend who worked in the judicial system tell us to hire a different lawyer, gave us his name, and stated the lawyer she suggested was a “fighter” and would be better suited for our case. As it happened, the opposing lawyer was the “fighter”. At each court appearance James remained composed at all times, however, when pushed, James became a force to be reckoned with and did not allow anyone to walk over us. He very confidently, yet politely, chastised the opposing attorney and in one case the GAL. In the court room James is truly a master of his craft, he can simultaneously; listen to opposing arguments, highlight sections of legal cases being referenced, take notes, and yet immediately respond in an intelligent effective manner. As for the office staff; they are very knowledgeable, considerate, courteous, helpful, and will find the answers to your questions. Finally, this firm does not ignore your concerns once your case is finished. If you have a question months later, you can still call for and receive advice.

James Davis took on a Child custody case that was the toughest I have seen or been a part of. He took it and owned it and committed to making the situation right. I can not express what a great job this man did. He took our case knowing a lot of odds were against winning and yet he came out on top... and won. I will forever be grateful for what he has done for my family. I highly, highly recommend him for any case you may have. He is a good honest Christian man and tells it like it is. By far the best lawyer around!

I found Mr. James Davis over 15 years ago and he has become our family go to attorney.
