The best attorney for personal injury and a great paralegal!!!!
I hired Dave to handle my claim after I was injured on a property where I lived. He was always tentative to my case and his paralegal Jessica is amazing. She listens and genuinely cares and they both work great as a team. I will always continue to use them for anything I ever need and will refer them to everyone I know.
I had the pleasure of being the client of Mr Bland on numerous occasions .
Dave is one of the most honest attorneys I had to hire
Unfortunately ,lawyers have a bad reputation as an ambulance chasers ,not Dave nor his firm
Dave is upfront ,honest ,courteous and an amazing presence in litigation .
If you need to hire an attorney DO NOT hesitate Dave or anyone in his firm .
In fact ,I've hired Bill Whittaker ,matrimonial attorneys and he too represents what an attorney should be
Your in great hands

15 years of fantastic service.
Dave Bland and his partner Lee Weaver have been representing our IT firm for over 15 years. Professional, quality representation is abundant in this region, but you will not find better "people" than these. I trust this firm with my life and I just don't have the words to express my full gratitude for the years of fantastic service in good times and in our darkest hours. Thank you Dave for your service, for your protection, for your advice, and most of all for your friendship.

Thanks Dave
There are times in everyone's life when things happen whether our own fault or someone else's that require legal action. If this does happen hopefully you will be able to find someone like Dave Bland. I was refered to Dave and after one meeting I knew I had the right man. Throughout the entire proceeding I was kept up to date and always informed of where we were and what to expect next. His professionalism, knowledge and work ethic helped me and my family deal with a difficult situation with confidence and a peace that it would work out, and through Dave's efforts we were able to reach a remedy that we were very pleased with. However the thing I was most impressed with was the man himself. It didn't take long to see that he was a man of great character and one whose impressive professional abilities were only surpassed by his honesty, compassion and courage. I went into this situation hoping to get a fair resolution and got not only that but an attorney and friend for life.

YOU CAN RELY ON DAVE BLAND TO GIVE YOU HIS BEST, THAT IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN
Dave Bland accepted a corporate civil tort case where several law firms had refused saying the case was valid but too complex for a jury to understand. Dave Bland said, I can make them undestand. He did. In a two week court trial in State Court, in Union County, Dave Bland, with his court room skills had a jury return the largest judgment rendered to that date, in that county, in a matter of hours. It made the Law Review as the lead story.
However collecting the money and having the judgment are separate issues and here is where you really want Dave Bland. To collect the money we had to go to Federal dourt. When we entered the court room, Dave Bland faced two of the largest law firms oin the large city where I lived. There were so many lawyers opposite us that they spilled into the court room viewers section. On our side sat Dave Bland and me. After one week in the court room, again a verdict came back in my favor, within a few hours. Dave Bland had defeated the hord of lawyers from the best law firms. He had the knowledge of how to present a case to the jury so they could understand what happened and and the will to win.
Dave made it easy for me to meet with him for trial prep and instead of dreading the time, he made it fun. On trial day, as I was hammered by other lawyers about documents and facts, I could recall them all. He kept track of deadlines and when we needed to work. Between times, i could live my life. The results of Dave Bland's efforts allowed me to retire and have a good life. He said, "A lot of money has been stolen from you, let's go get it back". From that day he was committed. Is this the kind of attorney you want, one that keeps up with your case, one that sticks with you, one that wins against the big guys?
If I needed an attorney in his area again, there would be no choice, Dave Bland would be the only attorney I would consider working with.

Find another lawyer with a greater sense of urgency and some empathy.
We were not at all happy with Bland. He was rude and condescending. He failed to live up to repeated promises. Our end result was positive because we used another lawyer to put pressure on Mr. Bland. But we lost money to a doctor that Bland had recommended. He failed to accept accountability in the end.
Response from M. David BlandNovember 15, 2015
This gentleman and his brother (an attorney not licensed in NC) wanted me to refuse to pay a physician who had provided medical services to the client. The doctor had a statutory lien against the recovery obtained for the client for providing medical treatment to the client. The client signed a lien promising to pay the doctor before the doctor ever provided medical treatment to him. It is unfortunate that this gentleman, when the positive end result was obtained, was now unhappy that I was not legally able to withhold the payment due to the doctor that had performed medical services for him. I had a legal and an ethical obligation that required me to pay the physician. I explained to this gentleman that the Rules of Professional Conduct of the North Carolina State Bar did not allow me to pay the settlement funds to the client or to our firm without first paying the lien to the doctor. Having to be firm and resolute about legal and ethical obligations was neither rude nor condescending. I simply told him the truth. Attorneys, like everyone else, are required to abide by the law.
