I recently received a speeding ticket while driving through North Carolina from the Outer Banks. My citation was serious in that I was going beyond 15 mph over the speed limit. I live out-of-state and accordingly, the North Carolina statute required my return to Camden County for an in-person court ...appearance. Given that I serve in the military, there were tremendous implications that would disrupt obligations I had for work. I called around North Carolina and spent a great deal of time asking for a seasoned professional who is well-respected in Camden County. I was told to be careful with finding “the right” attorney as the profession can be oversaturated with legal professionals who lack experience and in turn, create further complications. After reaching out to everyone I knew in North Carolina—or from there—a close family friend who retired from law in North Carolina came back to me with the unequivocal recommendation of Mike Sanders. Mr. Sanders was very informative from the beginning when it came to my trial. He was very reassuring in the fact that the would do whatever he could to get the best possible outcome for me. Anything that I did not comprehend, he explained in terms that allowed me to attain better understanding. Also,... the fact that he practiced in the area for some time was also a plus. The results of my case were very desirable. I always felt respected by Mr. Sanders and although I hope not to see the courtroom again anytime soon, I would not be opposed at all to using his services again.
