We needed several legal documents including a Living Trust, a Supplemental Needs Trust for our daughter, and a will and power of attorney for me and my wife. We had an excellent (free) initial consultation with Chris and hired him to do the work. He is very knowlegeable and although some of the docu...ment legalese was confusing to the layman, Chris patiently explained everything in plain English. The initial work was speedy and turnaround for document tweaks was also quick. Due to COVID, everything was done by phone except for the document signing, which was quick and easy at curbside. I definitely recommend him and will be using him in the future for periodic review of the documents and with other questions that arise.

We found Chris Wilms simply by searching online for a lawyer in the Cary/Durham area. We didn't know what to expect. We needed to deal with my mother's estate. Chris was great - easy to work with. Made very clear what we needed to do. We opted to do most of the legwork ourselves (although Chris can... also do most of the paperwork for you, if you want), but he was always there to advise us. Reliable, easy to communicate with, and very knowledgeable about all things related to probate and closing an estate. I would highly recommend him with no reservations.
