About Dayle
Biography
Dayle received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from North Carolina State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the North Carolina Industrial Commission, where he actively participated in researching and formulating opinions and awards filed by the Full Commission, the appellate body of the Industrial Commission.
Dayle divides his time and practice between workers’ compensation and general civil defense litigation. He also has an active appellate practice, including many appearances before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Dayle has been chosen to be among the Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury Defense for eleven consecutive years. In 2003 he was selected for membership in The Outstanding Lawyers of America, and was chosen by his peers to appear in the 2006 through 2014 editions of North Carolina Super Lawyers. In addition, Dayle has earned the highest (AV-Rated) ranking awarded by Martindale-Hubbell since 2002.
In addition to being licensed to practice in all of the state courts of North Carolina, Dayle is admitted to appear before the United States Supreme Court and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. His professional memberships include the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and Wake County Bar Association.
