George L. Simpson IV

George Simpson is a trial lawyer who handles a wide array of matters, including products liability cases, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability cases, auto accidents, and business disputes.  George has served as lead counsel in hundreds of lawsuits throughout North Carolina.   

Paying close attention to the client’s goals and expectations, George works hard to bring each case to a prompt and positive resolution.  In many cases, this means working with opposing counsel to negotiate a favorable out-of-court settlement.  If negotiations break down, however, George will put his extensive trial experience to use to vigorously present his client’s case to a judge and jury.  

In addition to his experience at the trial court level, George has appeared on behalf of clients at the appellate level in the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.  George's representative clients include insurance carriers, businesses of all sizes, and individuals.
