I was born and grew up in Raleigh, NC. I attended Broughton High School where I played basketball and soccer. For college, I attended Furman University in Greenville, SC on an ahtletic scholarship. I was a four year starter on the women's soccer team, an All Southern Conference selection, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Political Science and Spanish in 2006.
I was awarded the Southern Conference Sony Postgraduate Scholarship and the Carolina Panthers Postgraduate Scholarship, which helped to make my dream of attending law school a reality.
In the fall of 2006, I started law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I participated in intramurals and was a staff member of the Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. I graduated with a Juris Doctor with Honors in 2009.
After becoming a member of the North Carolina bar in the fall of 2009, I decided to start my own law firm. I opened my office in January 2010 and I have been helping clients in many areas of law since that time, mainly focusing on estate planning, probate, and business law.
I am a big sports fan, and I love college basketball in particular.
