Allison Becker

Ms. Becker focuses her practice on professional malpractice, commercial and business litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and appeals. She regularly represents individuals, businesses, insurance companies, and their insureds in a variety of state and federal courts, as well as before professional licensing and regulatory boards.

After graduating with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2008, Ms. Becker began her career at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP in New York, as a member of the firm’s complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, products liability & mass torts groups. In the summer of 2010, Ms. Becker moved to North Carolina for a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Thomas W. Waldrep, Jr. in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. After completing her clerkship, Ms. Becker joined Yates McLamb & Weyher in the spring of 2012. Ms. Becker has experience handling all aspects of litigation, from pleadings, to discovery and depositions, to motions practice and trial. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Virginia, and New York.
