I had a serious felony charge against me that occurred as a result of me having schizophrenia and commiting a crime under those influences… upon my arrest and subsequent hospitilazation, my wife called out to several lawyers, and matt was the first to respond to her, and please note this was also ...while he was on vacation at the beach with his family. During the initial conversation with my wife, he assured her , that although the charges where serious he believed he could get us a positive outcome regardless of how it looked on paper. from that moment on things weren't so dark for me and my family anymore. We then agreed to hire Matt for our case. and after the first initial consultation he gave us a price for the representation, and even agreed to take it into a couple of payments, and since I was no longer employed this was a tremendous bonus to me and my family. From the very beginning Matt has always treated me and my wife with respect and dignity throughout the whole process regardless of the circumstances and how it looked . he never treated me as a criminal and always made me feel comfortable with matt I believe it is truly about the work and not the money he puts his heart into all that he does., so now its onto court and after the first couple of court appearances and just as Matt said, we where given a very fair outcome by the judge that required court appointed appearances every 6 weeks for an entire year, and as usual Matt was there every time and never once asked for an additional penny to compensate for the court appearances and time… so now finally its been a whole year now and my charges have been officially dismissed and the case closed, Matt will be now working to get my record expunged and I can finally put this nightmare behind me and my family . and I have Matt Faucett to thank for all of that... he always did what he said he could do, nothing more nothing less, I also know he devotes a lot of his time to charitable causes overseas in third world countries and in my eyes a CLASS ACT ALL THE WAY. THANK YOU MATT!!!!!!!

My son had a warrant for his arrest from another state that he once lived in. He was arrested and eventually was taken back to that state. I submitted a question online and Matt Faucette picked up my case. He reached out to me about 9pm that night, which was so impressive to me. After hearing wha...t happened and the situation my son was in, Matt said he was going to try and help us with his situation. Being that I was in another state working with him with this matter, he did an awesome job with this case. I will recommend Matt Faucette to anyone that need a Lawyer for whatever reason. We approached Mr Faucette for a possible early expungement in 2015 before the new NC expungement law passed in 2017. Beyond the consultation, we didn't hear much from him after we paid the fee, which was three times of that from another lawyer we used later on to file the expungement in 2017. I u...nderstand that it may have been more difficult before the law was passed, but what was concerning was that it was difficult to hear from him or get a straight answer after the fee was paid. If we did receive a response, it wasn't a concrete no, this can't be done, or yes, we can move forward either. It wasn't until the law passed and I reached out about it, that I received an almost immediate response and was quoted another fee to have it filed. We decided to go with another attorney and the record has since been expunged, and we have moved on. It was an expensive lesson learned.

He lied to me. don't hire him for anything other than criminal law, I made that mistake and he gave my opponent free legal advice and helped him strike a better deal than what he was asking for. My opponent committed perjury but Faucett disregarded that entirely just to get rid of my case. A complete... waste of money.

I hired and paid him to do an expungment. Of course the payment was received but the expungement was never processed. I attempted to call and email him for an update and the status but he gave me some run-around answer that was not consistent with the courts. He never refunded me the money I paid h...im to do the expungement as he stated he would.
