Matthew Charles Faucette

I hired Matt Faucette as my offense attorney in February 2022. I got myself into a situation when I was at one of the lowest points in my life. Mr. Faucette was the 2nd lawyer I contacted and what made me choose him as opposed to the other lawyer was his quick responses, willingness to work with my financial situation at the time, and most importantly his faith ...in God. I am a person who believes in the power of prayer and faith and Mr. Faucette always ended our interactions with something like “be blessed”. The part of the review you probably want to read is that he was sure to keep me updated when my case got continued and was VERY thorough in explaining details after he got my case dismissed for me. After my arrest, my daughter said she knew Matt was the man for the job when he expressed how sorry he was to be needed for the huge challenge I had to overcome. I will never forget the day Matt visited me in county (he was a regular visitor) when he abruptly got up to leave, saying he was going to ...get me out of there. He knew I was innocent. He listened to me, worked with my public defender and me, and kept my loved ones informed. He encouraged me to not lose faith during some very very dark days. I will never forget the day we appeared in court for a bail reduction hearing. His passionate presentation of the facts in my case dwarfed the lame weak pleas of the prosecution, resulting in an amazing reduction in bail that got me home where I could more fully participate in the accumulation of evidence that clearly proved my innocence (and yes, the system treated me as guilty until proven innocent). I wish Matt could have seen me today, living a full happy life that he helped me recreate. Matt saved my life and I will be eternally grateful.
