Worlds Greatest Law Firm

I was a member of a Firefighter's Association back in the 90's. Travis took our case dealing with overtime issues and back pay. This case was settled out of court with all firefighter's receiving back pay and all future overtime being paid correctly. Travis handled a worker's comp. case for me th...at began in 2005. We went before the Industrial Commission which found for my employer, Travis appealed to the full Commission which then found in my favor. Thankfully all my medical bills and medications were paid for and in addition to that I received weekly checks from my employer. We ultimately settled with medical benefits being paid for a number of years and also a cash payout. Travis and his firm worked very hard and tirelessly for me over the years and I will always be great-full for their commitment. I would gladly recommend Travis Payne and his law firm to anyone who needs assistance.

Top Notch

I have needed the services of M. Travis Payne twice in my career. Travis has always shown that he is an expert on workers comp issues and work place related problems. Travis has shown compassion and vast knowledge with my most recent case involving a serious injury which ultimately led to a medical r...etirement. Travis has been an advocate for the Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics of North Carolina for many years and conducts workshops often to assist those in need with answers to many questions related to the legal system in North Carolina. I don't think there is any other attorney more versed in the labor laws in North Carolina at this time. I highly recommend, and have on occasion, the services of M.Travis Payne to anyone in need of a labor attorney.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
