Getting a speeding ticket is, big surprise here, always a most unpleasant event for me because typically I drive nice and easy until … I’m late (according to someone else’s schedule) lose my head, see the blue lights in the mirror and I’m upset for weeks – all the way until the ticket is over and don...e with. This time was no different. Rushing on my up to see my wife at Sanford Health & Rehab, got nailed near Buffalo Lake Road. Mr. Cottom and his office dealt with this very unpleasant situation very easily, professionally. Paid him $305 (when I didn’t have $305 to pay) , emailed the forms back and it was all done on my end. Mr. Cottom’s simple professionalism was most evident in that he COMMUNICATED!! Last time I was down this road – with another lawyer – I had to email them – then wait a day or two to know for sure that their lawyer did, in fact, go to court for me as agreed. I recommend Mr. Cottom for anyone requiring representation in any of his areas of expertise.

All it took was one call to Jeremy Cotten. His assistant took all my information and a few days later I got a call from Jeremy. He explained the whole process to me and assured me that he would get the best judgment he could for me. Aside from having to pay a fine and the court costs (which I wo...uld have had to pay no matter how the charge was handled) for a small fee (the smallest fee of any lawyer I have ever had to employ for a traffic violation), Jeremy Cotten handled my whole case. He reviewed my case thoroughly which was speeding (60 mph in a 45 mph zone). He went to court in my place and got the charge dropped to Improper Equipment which has essentially no effect on me for insurance or license purposes and therefore I would not be subject to any increase in insurance based upon the disposition. He paid for all court costs and fines and now the matter is officially resolved. Jeremy Cotten handled my case in the best way possible, getting the best judgment possible and for a very reasonable fee.
