Mr. Cotten is a native of Fuquay Varina in Wake County, North Carolina. He attended primary education in Fuquay and has many family members from the area.

 

After completing his high school education he signed and played professional baseball within the Pittsburgh Pirate organization for five years before returning to Campbell University to earn a BA in Trust and Investment Management.

 

He then worked in the banking and wealth management industry for three years while earning numerous designations including the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation.

 

After graduating from Campbell University's School of Law Mr. Cotten then went out on his own to establish Cotten Law, PLLC in the heart of downtown Fuquay.

Professional and Knowledgeable
Cotten Law Firm jumped right in to handle my traffic ticket when I had no idea what to do or where to start. I didn’t have to show up to court and charges were dismissed the same day. Ashley answered all of my questions and walked me threw the entire process. 5 stars is just simply not enough. First speeding ticket in 10 years
Mr. Cotten represented me in court and was able to get my speeding ticket, (20 over) reduced to Improper Equipment, For that, I am very grateful. I don't believe I paid him enough for services rendered though. Seriously, this is the first time in a very long time that I don't feel like I paid enough for what I received.

Mr. Cotten handled my first speeding ticket ever. He went to court for me and resolved the issue. I didnt have to miss time from work or be in court all day. I paid a reasonable fee to the firm the day I hired him. Then I paid the court costs online after he went to court on my behalf. I am very grateful for his services.

Reckless Driving and Speeding
Mr. Cotton was very professional and handled my case in a timely manner. He explained exactly what he could do for me before being hired. The trooper allegedly said I was going 25 miles over the speed limit and Mr. Cotton handled my case at a very reasonable price. He represented me in court without me having to be there and I received the exact results that he spoke to me about. I am very pleased with the outcome and I will definitely recommend him to anyone in the area. He’s a great attorney.

Great Service!!
Cotten Law firm worked to resolve my incident. They were able to get my charges dismissed without a court appearance. I was in contact with the paralegal and attorney throughout the whole process. There isn't a more efficient and cost effective attorney I would hire in the future. Thank you for resolving my incident.

Quick, Professional, Inexpensive, Delivered on promise, Highly Recommend
Allegedly, I got clocked doing 59/35. Due to covid, and some personal health challenges, I had to put this on the back burner. I literally started searching for an attorney, 2 days prior, to my court date. I chose this firm based on reviews. I called and spoke with someone (I forgot her name) and she assured me they'd take care of it. My main concern was license points/increased insurance premiums. I received an email, the same day as my court date, telling me it's completed, I got a Prayer for Judgement, and I owe nothing more (I opted for the all inclusive package). This service was quick, inexpensive, throughly explained, and professional. Thank you for my peace of mind and delivering on your promise. I'd refer anyone to you.

Fantastic
Jeremy Cotten was able to get my ticket (which was 21 mph above the speeding limit within the city limits) reduced without even having to use a JPC! I do not have any points against my insurance or license either! The firm was timely and responsive when I inquired and this whole process was seamless and easy! I absolutely would recommend this firm for any support legally that they offer! They are fantastic!

Great Representation
First, being seven hours away in a different state was causing me much anxiety thinking I would have to take off two days of work, find a place to stay in NC, and appear in court. Jeremy Cotten was able to alleviate my worry. Secondly, I was very impressed to talk directly with Jeremy Cotten and not some other associate in the firm. He spent time with me explaining the process for court, how his firm could represent me, and that I did not have to appear. On the day of the court hearing, I received a text message and an email letting me know that everything went fine in court and that the matter was over. For professionalism and peace of mind, this firm is A+.

Awesome service
Everything was taken care of over the phone Ashley was a great help always answered questions quickly Grandson got speeding ticket he took the class as Ashley instructed and everything was taken care of without him going to court charges were reduced no insurance or driving record issues.
