I was cited by NCHP for 90/65 with Reckless Driving while traveling on I95. Being from GA, I was unaware of the specific traffic laws in NC and certainly concerned about facing a court date. I researched various attorneys and made a few calls. I ultimately selected Cotten for a couple of reasons. Whe...n I called their office, the staff asked good questions and really worked to understand my specific situation and explain the process. Also, my research indicated that defending traffic violation is 80% of their business, so it was clear that the experience was there. They did not disappoint. Even with all the uncertainty in court dates due to COVID 19, they were able to get my Reckless Driving citation dismissed and my speeding citation reduced to 74/65. The fees are very reasonable. I received a citation for speeding in a work zone back in May during the midst of the pandemic and needed a lawyer fast. I called for help with a speeding ticket from Wake Cty & I live in Johnston Cty so not sure what my options were & have not got a speeding ticket since my early 20's & I am now 40. Staff on phone explained everything in detail & I gave all my info they needed over the phone & didn't have to go to the... office. Very professional & knowledgeable.
