Killer lawyer with a heart of gold! He answered his own phone (after hours, and with his baby crying in the backgroud) was so patient with my excessively detailed accounting, and was genuinely reassuring that indeed, I was not going to go to jail.. (Several other lawyers I had spoken with earlier ha...d scared the #*$%^$@ out of me, and given me very incorrect info). The next day I called to be sure I understood correctly, and he was again very patient and warm, re-explained everything he said the day before, and did not make me feel like an annoying little old lady. When the hearing was postponed I thought that meant bad news, and Ashley was also very reassuring and willing to explain details. When i received his prompt notification of the better-than-expected outcome, I hesitantly asked for details and clarifications, expecting at best a perfunctory bullet point answer. My 16 year old received a ticket going extremely fast in an area where the speed limit was 45. Mr. Cotten and his paralegal reassured us and comforted me, he went to court and came back with a an outcome of reduced speeding and no points!
