Audit Defense

Mr. Douglas Kingsbery guided us through a personal and business IRS audit. He attended the Audit meetings and handled all correspondence with the IRS agent. The one thing that I have learned from the IRS Audit experience is that you should be represented by an attorney. If you need an atto...rney why not hire the best! The day after I received the letter from the IRS, I researched attorneys in our area and that evening watched a short video from Mr. Kingsbery. I called his office the next day. Doug Kingsbery is a North Carolina Specialist in both State and Federal Criminal Tax Defense. The worse outcome of any audit would be a criminal charge, which most tax professionals would not be equipped to handle. Everything that I located concerning Mr. Kingsbery indicated that he was the best in his field. Although we were not facing a criminal tax accusations, I decided to hire Mr. Kingsbery for our audit. Mr. Kingsbery professionally and skillfully controlled the audit proceedings from dealing with the IRS agent to ensuring that we were prepared. During the first audit proceeding, the IRS agent quietly suggested to me that we could handle the audit without Mr. Kingsbery, that is the moment that I knew that I needed him most. Any audit is a difficult and scary proceeding, and the IRS is not there to help you through. Mr. Kingsbery's guidance, recommendations, and knowledge protected our business, protected our family, and saved us over 100k dollars. I highly recommend Mr. Kingsbery if you are facing any tax situation.

Why Settle for Less, Mr. Kingsbery's the BEST!!

Extraordinary Legal Service

Two years ago, I was approached by an IRS Agent, and asked to answer a few questions. I wish I had known Doug Kingsbery that day, and had been able to benefit from his sage advise, and answered those questions in his presence. When I sought an attorney, she told me I needed Mr. Kingsbery - as he is... the best available. After his care and attention to my problems, I am thankful that he was there to help me through this time. That day began years of problems, terrors, and constant fear of what would happen in my life. It took some time to even understand how significantly the result of the IRS action could devastate my life. I worried that I would lose my business, my ability to support myself, send my child to college, and to fulfill the myriad of responsibilities that would affect children, family, friends, employees, and customers. Without Doug Kingsbery, I believe that that loss and devotion of my life would have been the result. Mr. Kingsbery digs deep to find all of the information that might help or hurt a case. He is always prepared. He attends to details that most would overlook. He will intensely focus and efficiently complete the task at hand – providing excellent service, while minimizing unnecessary fees. He goes the extra mile to care for his clients.
