Brenton Jamirez Boyce

I truly made a mistake in hiring Benton Boyce. I did not do my due diligence of researching for a competent attorney, and instead took someone’s recommendation. I called him on a Wednesday, and he needed all the money upfront by Friday to take the case. He dragged my case out for almost two years ...with a flurry of “continuous” which I received by text. We never once had a face to face meeting to discuss any strategy or defense. I requested it, but he always found a way to get out of them. I realized after close to a year that the reason he was continuing my case so often was that he simply was not working on it. Up into the date of me finally seeing a judge he was completely unfamiliar with the details of my case. He lied to me on several occasions, and there were times when he wouldn’t return my phone calls, or answer my text messages. I’ve haven’t had a need for an attorney often in my life, but the few times I’ve needed one, I never felt like my attorney was working against me instead of for me. Benton Boyce was definitely not working for me. I could’ve done better with a public defender. If he didn’t want to take my case, why “take my money?
